What I’m Loving Now: Racinne Ultimate Youth Power Eye Cream

To know me is to know that I love eye cream.  I have been an over-active eye cream user since I turned 40.  Granted, I recommend that women start using eye cream way be for age 40, but that is when my addiction to under eye creams began.  Thank goodness.  At 56, I don’t have any lines around my eyes, although I do suffer from occasional puffiness and dark circles–most likely due to my other addictions –red wine and late night Words With Friends…

At any rate, I’m always happy when I find a new eye cream that steps up and does what an eye cream is supposed to do.  My latest discovery is Racinne Ultimate Youth Power Eye Cream.  I pretty much love it.  I would just love to slather this rich cream all over my face, but I’m way to frugal for that indulgence.

My results:

First off, I have to say that I have an affinity for Korean skin care brands.  They seem to get it right with ingredients and technology.  The Ultimate Youth products from Racinne feature two hero ingredients – SH-DP-9 TM (Sh-Decapeptide-9) and Ginseng Callus Culture Extract, both known to firm the skin and decrease lines.

 

My first reaction to applying  Racinne Ultimate Youth Power Eye Cream was a full on ahhhhh. This eye cream is rich, luxurious yet penetrates the skin.  The moisture left on the top of my skin is just enough to keep it moist for hours.  (I know this because I have an OCD habit of touching my area all day).

 

Have you ever noticed how young children’s under eyes seems to always look moist, dewy and highlighted?  Naturally?  Well, that’s how my eyes look after I apply Racinne Ultimate Youth Power Eye Cream.  Love that.

 

I also can feel this eye cream knocking out the puffiness under my eyes after application.  Love that too.  Over time, the dark circles that I am plagued with have lightened up, and I’m sure were it not for my bad habits, they would be nearly obliterated.

Packaging: 4 Blings, I prefer pumps for eye cream, minimized contamination, even though this comes with a cute little spoon. I also don’t like jars with “mirror” like finishes and small print.  I’m too darn old to read that.
